I’m interested in an affordable set of golf clubs for a beginner. Where can I look?

admin I would prefer new, but lightly used could possibly be good too. I have only been out a couple of times but would like to have a simple set because I do see myself going out on occassion. I would prefer not to use an auction site like ebay, but will not rule it out.
What is a good brand of golf clubs? Also, does anyone know a good golf course in Ohio-near columbus..?
May 15th, 2011 admin I am buying my husband new gold clubs for his birthday and wanted to know what brand. I saw this brand for 250$-Golden Bear Mega Pro 460-But wasn’t sure if this is a good brand or what-I do not want to go above 250-Also, I wanted to buy him a couple rounds of golf, but do not know any good golf courses around here-I wanted one near or around columbus, or lancaster. Thanks for the help!
Oh, he is 5’9 and right handed-if this matters, I know he should get them fitted to himself, but I want it to be a surprise..
